Flits Beta Test phase & V5.0 timeline

Flits Wallet Beta phase

We are really excited to announce that the Flits Beta phase is almost open and a select group of users will be provided with early access to test the new app and provide initial feedback on the new app. We estimate this phase will take two to three weeks to give users the possibility to extensively test the new features and make sure all changes to the app are done right. We are confident Flits V5.0 will be the next big step for Flits and help the project to appeal even more to the masses. While designing and developing the new Flits Wallet app, we have always kept the user central, and we aim to make crypto easier and to provide better access for a large audience. The new Flits Wallet app will be; more smooth, provide better feedback to the user, provide more information about the features, have an updated support system, and much more to be excited about. 

Although the estimated timeline of the release of the Flits Wallet update has shifted two weeks, we are convinced that a good beta phase is an essential part of the release of V5.0 of the Flits Wallet app. We have been building for several months on this new app and not only the new app and the new features but also sourcing partners and improving the backend structure of the app. With the holidays nearing as well, we would like to provide a more realistic timeline for the official release of V5.0. Therefore, we estimate the new app version will be officially live in January 2022. This is a small delay of a few weeks, but taking some external factors into account and also considering the possibility of last-minute changes based on the user's feedback and approval by Google and Apple, we believe this is a better and more realistic estimation.

After the official release of V5.0, we will follow up with monthly and bimonthly (every two months) updates to add new features, make small improvements and keep the app up-to-date. This means that features that are missing or still being developed will be gradually added to the app. Of course, this does not include basic functionalities of the app but rather new features such as Defi, that are closely related to our plans with the Flits Coin (FLS) as well. 

Improvements V5.0

The new update for the Flits Wallet app will include a lot of stability updates and add new features to the Flits Wallet app. As previously shared, we have invested a lot of time into optimizing the existing structures of the whole operation to provide a better scalable service without compromising usability. Not only have we optimized our server structure for the hosting of master nodes, but we have also made the entire app more accessible for third parties, making it so that other projects can eventually offer their services within the Flits Wallet app. Bringing valuable services to our users and opening up endless possibilities for users to explore the world of cryptocurrencies. We will of course always have our roots in a master node hosting service, but within this fast-evolving space, we believe it is important to stay up-to-date as the next 'big' thing is always around the corner. In the end, we are a small organization, but with a lot of knowledge, experience, and a lot of creative/innovative ideas. We can not do everything ourselves and operating within the European Union also has its limitations, so we decide to work smart. We keep things clean and clear; We emphasize the fact that we want to create an ecosystem and bring the different aspects of crypto together within one app. We do this by reducing the risks and making things easy, with our keywords: "Earn, Hold and Spend". Let us worry about the possibilities, so our users can enjoy our services to the fullest.

We have the fullest trust this new app will bring a whole new dimension and open a new chapter for the Flits project. We hope this new app creates a more cohesive and improved experience for our users and helps people get started with their crypto adventure. That said, we also would like to inform we will keep everyone up-to-date on new development and future improvements to the app.
