Roadmap Lite – Landing Soon!

The Flits community have spoken.. the Flits team have of course listened intently. Very soon, a Roadmap Lite is expected to drop! Jam packed with the latest intel from Flits HQ, Flits app users may once again find themselves dancing with the mobile devices ;).. The past little while has allowed the team to focus and obtain a better understanding with regards to a specific project timeline and upcoming development in general.

In fact, we can confirm that the Roadmap Lite is pretty much near ready to be presented to everyone. Though it has taken some time to put it all together, the core-team wanted to first ensure that what is presented, is something which they do intend to honour. The Flits team further wish to express their apologies for the delay, but at the same time re-iterate that this is due to a better and more future-proof foundation for the Flits project being built. With their eyes on the prize, Team Flits is indeed ready to move forward.

Just to further elaborate.. although the Flits team have been increasingly busy as of late, it is recognized that community updates have been somewhat lacking. Truth is.. to take the project further, the team have had to adapt and prioritize their time accordingly. A constant juggling act if you will. One that the Flits team hopes will culminate into a potential ‘show-stopping’ spectacular in due course.

As we march on though, the team most certainly do plan to keep everyone more informed. The idea, is to be more vocal on what has been achieved, that which may potentially be expected in the future, and how it all fits in to the bigger picture. There’s really no time like the present, so let’s dive right in..

Since the last big update, a rather significant investment has been made into new team members and assets. It’s all far to easy to grow complacent. As the crypto space continues to soar, Flits aims to increase it’s own position in this very exciting sphere. To scale for such.. potential shortcomings need to be rectified, areas of opportunity identified and a plan of action put in place - in an attempt to seize them. Though a very labour intensive and time consuming process indeed, there’s no real benefit to prematurely executing ideas. I.e. when the nuts ‘n bolts aren’t in place.

Specifically speaking, the customer support team has been expanded. This will potentially allow for the incorporation of more robust shift rotation within the support structure itself. Over the weekends, limited support coverage has resulted in increased query response time. With the steady growth of the user-base within the Flits ecosystem (now nearing 40 000!), this particular focal point has become increasingly more problematic.

We are pleased to inform you that more technical expertise has been brought into the mix as well. The technical team have an immense workload hosting the 7000 + masternodes, plus of course addressing internal technical escalations. These in particular have risen sharply by the accompanied massive growth of the Flits app user-base.

Supplementing the above, we can also confirm that significant progress has been made with regards to the upcoming ‘hard fork’ chain update. This backend work is being done to try and tackle some frustrating issues from a more pro-active standpoint (as opposed to a re-active one). The recent fork which FLS experienced was the type of issue caused by the unknown trying to ‘game the system’, and the network in turn preventing it. This as a result causes confusion to some nodes. The update is a requirement to potentially mitigate this entirely. Essentially working to update PIVX from 4.1.1 to 5.1.

With regards to the development of the Flits app, the dev team are looking at some dramatic changes to the core code itself. This is huge for Flits, and of course no small feat either.. As and when the team can share some more information in this regard, the community will be among the first to know.. Keep your eyes open and ears to the ground :)
